In this short video, I have asked my avatar to explain to you what a data contract is.
A data contract is an agreement between a data producer and several data consumers. It links business (logical representation of the data) and technology (its physical implementation). A data contract also describes meta meta data: data quality rules, SLA, and behavior. In short, a data contract is the source of truth for your metadata.
