NoSQL talk in Zagreb
After my talk in Miami, I will speak about NoSQL, and specifically “understanding why you need NoSQL” in Zagreb, Croatia during the Adria IUG event on May 22nd 2014.

In this session, we will discover:

  • An introduction to JSON.
  • A (personal) history about hybrid databases and why they are useful, of course this explains what NoSQL is.
  • Overview of Informix and JSON.

At the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • Understand the difference between XML and JSON in the engine.
  • How does those features apply to your projects, if they do.
  • Some “good” practices to get started.
